State Tournament Assigning Protocol: State Cup TournamentProtocol State Cup Tournament Assigning is done manually upon referee request. If you are the center official, please communicate by email or text with your crew prior to the match, discussing tournament protocol, time/location to arrive prior to the match and uniform to be worn during the match (if team colors are known). Officials MUST have more than one long sleeved shirt, appropriate warm-ups/ professional referee uniform appearance a MUST. This is a more formal match and we as officials should dress/look/officiate the part. Please review all state cup tournament rules prior to the match. NOTE: the association U11/12 rules may be different from WSYSA tournament rules - please apply the appropriate state cup tournament rules in your match. Do not request AR1 position, if you can't step into that position if the occasion arises. If you do not have the rank for the match, then increase your rank by: 1) asking for a mentor, 2) providing a mentor's or senior official's evaluation to the assignor. Some assignments have been made already. If you have not recertified by January 1st (and are supposed to be recertifying for 2025), your state cup assignment may be removed. The SRC database will update to 2025 on December 31st, 2024 at midnight.
